Dr. Wayne Longstaffe

Wayne A. G. Longstaffe, B.S., D.C.

After 2 years of study at Simon Fraser University, Dr. Longstaffe attended the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto and the Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa where he graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1974. While at Palmer, he completed his Bachelor of Science, achieved a Clinical Excellence Award, and was a member of the Pi Tau Delta Honour Society.

Dr. Longstaffe has had offices in Winnipeg, Beausejour, and Steinbach Manitoba, before moving to British Columbia with his family in 1986.

He has served as President of the Manitoba Chiropractor’s Association and on the Examining Committee of the British Columbia Chiropractic Association while assisting in the preparation of the Canadian Chiropractic Exams.

Dr. Longstaffe has provided care for a variety of conditions in addition to wellness care for families including children and infants. Over the years, he has attended numerous seminars in chiropractic techniques, diagnostic imaging, sports injuries, rehabilitation, and whiplash associated disorders. He is a credentialed provider of Active Release Techniques (ART), utililizing an extremely effective soft tissue technique for various neuromusculoskeletal injuries for repetitive stress (carpal tunnel type syndromes, tennis elbow, etc.), nerve entrapments, sports injuries, and athletic performance enhancement.
